About the project
This four story, 150 unit affordable senior housing development remained occupied while under construction. The Owner was able to obtain additional funding which extended the duration of the project and increased the scope of work. The seismic upgrades, while invasive, were completed in conjunction with the conversion to full ADA compliance of four 1 bedroom units. Radiators were replaced in the common areas.
The community room was enlarged, with all common areas receiving newlighting, finishes, and modernization of the life safety systems and MEP. Our exterior scope of work included the complete replacement of all windows, new roofing and waterproofing. In addition to landscaping improvements throughout, ADA compliant parking was added with revisions to the path of travel and new signage.
