About the project
This 47-unit, affordable housing building is one of five that were rehabilitated and re-financed using tax credits and mortgage financing in 2012. Managed by Satellite Housing (now Satellite Affordable Housing Associates), the project involved architectural upgrades and the complete exterior replacement of windows, roof, painting, and deck coatings. Structural work included a seismic upgrade and the enlargement of a community room. All common areas received new lighting and finishes, and MEP and life safety systems were modernized. The building was fully occupied for the duration of the work.
