Moe Wright has been named as an Affordable Housing Month Honoree by East Bay Housing Organizations. The well-being of other people is important to him. Moe was one of the founders and a long-time supporter of the Berkeley Ecumenical Chaplaincy for the Homeless. He has spent countless hours working with various programs and in various capacities with the First Congregational Church of Berkeley, Pacific School of Religion, Rebuilding Together, Goodwill Industries of the Greater Bay Area and Everyone Home in Alameda County (just to mention a few).
Moe has also contributed to the affordable housing community by dedicating his efforts to pass Measure A1- Alameda County Affordable Housing Bonds and Measure W – Sales Tax To Help Fight Homelessness in Alameda County.
During his 47-year career at BBI Construction, Moe provided thoughtful leadership to the teams rehabilitating and constructing innumerable affordable housing projects.
Nowadays, Moe is actively involved with several organizations to keep building communities.
