New construction of a 41,000 sq. ft. mixed-use, affordable senior housing development. The craftsman style development provides 40 affordable apartments for seniors, including two-bedroom, one-bedroom and studio apartments, a common area, and covered parking, as well as first floor commercial space.

BBI Construction was hired when the project was in the early design phase; we worked with the owner and architect to bring construction costs into the budget. A variety of funding sources were utilized for the project, including HUD financing.

Sustainable design features include photovoltaic panels for electricity used in common spaces, highly efficient framing methods for conservation of building materials, and low VOC content finish materials.
