Rockridge Greenbelt
Oakland, CA
Client: City of Oakland
Architect: David Rashe / Kathy Daywood
The Rockridge Greenbelt Phase II was a continuation from Phase I completed in 2001. The project included a great deal of community input, fund raising, and City Counsel supported grants. The scope of work included new landscape and irrigation, and the installation of a new concrete pathway to match and meet the path installed in Phase I. Hardy Park also received landscaping and irrigation around the existing pond. Custom designed tables were installed in the concrete plaza area, along with a new play area with swings, rubberized safety surfacing and interactive play panels, a drinking fountain, gates, fencing, repairs to the dog park fence, and resurfacing of the basketball courts. This was a design-build project. |
