| BBI Construction Begins Renovation Work at the Oakland Greyhound Bus Terminal |

BBI is currently providing construction services to renovate the downtown Oakland Bus terminal. Upgrades to the circa 1930s concrete, wood frame, and stucco building include renovation and clean up of the existing front facade, restoration of the terra cotta cladding and installation of new storefront systems and doors. Additionally, a partial remodel of the existing interior spaces includes a mechanic's shop, foreman's office, cleaner's office and new staff restroom facilities.
The existing client parking lot will be upgraded with paving repairs and seal coating, pavement marking, site fencing, landscape planters and irrigation. Site work also includes custom metal fencing enclosures at the bus parking area to accommodate a new trash compactor and provide for additional secured storage.
Mechanical and electrical upgrades include new lighting and distribution, heating at foreman's office, new air compressor and distribution at mechanic's shop and power connections for new equipment installations related to bus fueling.
The terminal will remain in operation during construction.
