This project contains 150 units of senior housing and it was built in 1982 in Newark, California. The improvements include the replacement of all exterior windows and siding. The building is fully occupied during construction. Financing is provided under a HUD 223 (f) program. Some interior improvements to create accessibility are included in the scope. Pre-finished cement board shingles are specified for the exterior in order to reduce the amount of site time and impact on the residents. A system of moveable scaffolding eliminates the need for stationary scaffolding and the impact on the senior community.
